What to wear to a bottomless prosecco party? First world problems, eh? But these are some of the tear inducingly stressful issues we now have to deal with, thanks to so many Belfast spots offering up the bubbly. I had the pleasure of dining at the gorgeously opulent Miel et Moi on the Lisburn road alongside my dear friends Lydia and Gareth. Miel et Moi, which translates as Honey and Me (love!) is Northern Ireland’s first licensed Patisserie and Café Bar. Inspired by classical French bars and patisseries, their beautiful pastries are hand baked daily using locally sourced ingredients. From 3pm you can sip prosecco until your heart’s content alongside an accompaniment of mini patisserie delights. Think crumbly macaroons and divine lemon meringue. But back to the issue. What to wear?! Not quite day time, not quite night… but luckily, I think this look nails it. Casual enough for food, dressy enough for fizz. And if you haven’t bought yourself a pair of mules yet, what ARE you doing? These bad boys go with absolutely everything and help me to appear slimmer, ultimately fooling people into thinking that I haven’t attended approximately 7 (not even a joke) bottomless prosecco brunches in the past month. I’ll toast to that.
*Bottomless Prosecco parties at Miel et Moi are £25.95 per person and are Available Monday – Friday from 3pm. Book by calling 02890682641*
